Tyler's had quite the month, he's been busy getting teeth (6 in and 2 on the way), learning to crawl, learning to pull-up and stand and enjoying discovering his new found world! All of these new tricks have kept Mom & Dad busy in the baby proofing department! But we're okay with it because this month we finally heard the long awaited "da da da da" and "ma ma ma ma" ("la la la la" and "ba ba ba ba"), so in the language department it's no longer just Tyler speak which is made up of snorts, grunts, squeals and screams - they're now just mixed in intermittently.
We're still working on perfecting the crawling - he doesn't quite yet realize he can go far distances yet and more than using his knees he likes to push off the floor with his right foot for now, but it gets the boy where he wants to go - so it works. He's also not quite stable for long periods on his own when it comes to standing yet either, but he can certainly get himself to standing in no time flat! Little man gets credit for doing his best, boy's got some serious weight to throw around!!!
Demonstrating his standing skills!
Who needs a watch dog when you have Tyler?
Love this face!!!
Every night Daddy gets Tyler out of the bath tub
Okay, I guess I should elaborate... but this thing is just too funny to not post a picture of. His father's going to kill me and refuses to let him wear it... but when he goes out of town for weeks at a time and leaves me at home with a mobile child who's now prone to injury much more than ever before, why wouldn't I bust it out?! Brad - you'll be happy to know Tyler knows how to take it off and prefers to chew on it anyway, in fact it has now surpassed the oatmeal container as favorite toy!
