We're finally back after a major computer issue this weekend - it was my first experience with the "blue screen of death", but we're up and running now and thankfully our files and pictures are all still intact - thank goodness, life is rough these days without computer access!
Tyler had a big week last week, we made the trek all the way to Cleveland to take him to the Cleveland Clinic for yet ANOTHER appointment with a pediatric ophthalmologist... who we LOVED and are so glad he was able to clear up some confusion for us after receiving a different second opinion here in Columbus! So needless to say we're probably looking at logging lots of miles for doctors appointments and potential surgeries... but our little buddy's definitely worth it!
The latest is we're going to give glasses a try over the next 8 weeks to see if it seems to help straighten his eyes out and then we'll determine if surgery is the next step or not depending on what we see. We're also still going to patch a couple hours a day as well just to make sure he keeps using both eyes. Keeping glasses on this little boy is going to be a challenge to say the least... but I just know he's going to look darling in them! If anyone has tricks for getting toddlers comfortable in glasses, please let me know, I'm up for any suggestions! We'll be sure to post some pics once we get them, probably in another week or so!
Here's some pics of our busy, busy boy, oh did I mention I'm also taking bets on how many pairs of glasses we're going to go through?! :)
